Donald J. Trump's Five Point Plan For Ethics Reform
Donald J. Trump ^ | 10-17-2016 | Donald Trump

Posted on 10/17/2016 9:56:26 PM PDT by abigkahuna

First: I am going to re-institute a 5-year ban on all executive branch officials lobbying the government for 5 years after they leave government service. I am going to ask Congress to pass this ban into law so that it cannot be lifted by executive order.

Second: I am going to ask Congress to institute its own 5-year ban on lobbying by former members of Congress and their staffs.

Third: I am going to expand the definition of lobbyist so we close all the loopholes that former government officials use by labeling themselves consultants and advisors when we all know they are lobbyists.

Fourth: I am going to issue a lifetime ban against senior executive branch officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government.

Fifth: I am going to ask Congress to pass a campaign finance reform that prevents registered foreign lobbyists from raising money in American elections.

Not only will we end our government corruption, but we will end the economic stagnation.

Be nice if the foreign lobbying ban could be expanded beyond senior executive offices to include any government employee. ...or something reasonable in-between. At least include political appointees or anyone that requires congressional confirmation.

He needs a five-point plan to win the election first. The media is saying he’s finished, done, kaput once again after many previous times.

If Trump makes “Ethics in Government” a key part of his “Plan for Change” he will win.

“If Trump makes “Ethics in Government” a key part of his “Plan for Change” he will win.”

Trump needs Newt to draw up a 100 day plan of action.

I can tell you this when I talk to people liberal or conservative the one thing in common that both groups are angry about is politicians using there position to line there pockets. I think even some of the hard core liberals you can get through to when you speak of the problem of corruption.

It’s a good start but I didn’t see term limits in there. I know I know; congress needs to pass it which they are unlikely to because it would mean they would be voting themselves out of a job but it really is something that needs to be done.

Maybe when a convention of states happens and an Amendment can be applied to our Bill of Right and/or Constitution.

It's a start...

But we all know that the work ahead for the Donald will be enormous. He will have to fight George Soros who will be biting at his heels in every turn. He will have to fight the multitudes of well financed para-military organizations such as the BLM, and the entrenched government workers. It almost seems like the best thing to do is treat all hostiles as exactly that; hostile and dangerous. Make a list. Sort of like Hillaries spreadsheet....

Assign Program Managers to each and every task. Not political hacks, and not lifetime government employees, but experienced business leader in project management and new processes, and then overhaul everything. Every office, every cabinet position,...everything....
