A story like this is going to make people instinctively wonder what the hell else is out there in ANY of these electronic communications that have been hacked, downloaded, or simply turned over to the police -- Kim Dotcom, Wikileaks, and now Anthony Weiner's iPhone.

6. The FBI in the Southern District of Manhattan develops the case on its own and turns it over to agents loyal to the Bureau, not Comey.

7. Having earlier "placed a raincoat on Comey," i.e., having kept the boss out of the loop, agents familiar with the contents of the Weiner/Huma laptop and the laptops that they preserved in defiance of Comey's orders, go to Comey and give him an ultimatum. The contents hint at treason and implicate members of Comey's family.

8. Comey reopens the investigation, calls for all hands on deck, and prepares for Assange's data dump.

Speculation can be rampant, but first of all, It seems implausible that they are just now getting around to Carlos and his wife. So my bet is that they’ve had this stuff for some time now and have probably done a lot of internal investigating of the contents. Then why now? I think that Comey sees the handwriting on the wall that Trump is likely to win the election. Ergo, he has no cover, so he’s trying this at this late hour to try and keep himself out of jail. My two cents anyway!

It’s already been reported that they examined a laptop that Weiner and Huma both used on the sexting deal and found emails on it that Huma had forwarded to herself at her Yahoo account. That’s what this is about.

I think there's another step between my #5 and your #6 ...

5.5 -- High-ranking NYPD brass who owe their careers to former NYC mayor and former Federal prosecutor Rudy Giuliani ... now one of Donald Trump's most vocal supporters ... quietly fill in their former boss on what they found.

I have no evidence to support this, but I strongly suspect there were some top people on the Trump campaign team who knew what was going down before Hillary Clinton did.

Taken at face value, if they were examining Weiner's device (sheesh, you can't get away from the innuendo) and found emails from Huma with State Department business, then they have to be investigated. That is, of course, if there is a shred of honesty left in the FBI.

I think it might be very relevant. Huma and Weiner could be Bill and Hillary’s pimps. And the FBI, or NYC PD, has found evidence of pedophilia. Assange said something was coming that would get her arrested. A child sex ring would do it.

By the way, where is Huma? Could she be under FBI protection?

And I tend to believe Assange knows what the FBI is going to do before Comey knows. There are probably quite a few pissed off moles in the bureau.

Here is my theory.

Comey has millions in ill gotten gains from Billary.
So he put people he has the goods on to investigate Billary.

Meanwhile all these other investigations going on.
Without him noticing someone WHO HAS THE GOODS ON COMEY got put in charge of the Wiener investigation.

Oh, crap! He has to go public with it.

It is obvious that this is NOT due to serious evidence, or threats to national security because by just setting up the server to obstruct justice that bar was already met.

Of course we have been hearing about the mutiny in the FBI, so that put more pressue on Comey as well. This is likely worse that we’ve heard. The problem is that Comey cannot fire anyone, as they will go to the press.
