New Hillary Clinton Probe ‘Suggests Criminality,’ Veteran FBI Investigator Says

The announcement on Friday that the FBI is investigating a new batch of Hillary Clinton emails suggests the bureau may have uncovered something criminal, a 35-year FBI veteran tells TheWrap.

“This letter is a shocker,” said James Wedick, who headed the FBI’s corruption squad in Sacramento. “Obviously they stumbled upon something that suggests criminality.”

In a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee, FBI director James Comey explained that the bureau “has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation.”

Comey did not explain where the new emails came from, only saying only that they surfaced “in connection with an unrelated case.”

The New York Times reported Friday that the new batch of related emails were discovered on the devices of former Congressman Anthony Weiner and his wife, Clinton aide Huma Abedin, as part of another FBI investigation into illicit text messages that Weiner sent to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina.

She was on HC’s campaign plane yesterday. I wouldn’t call that “in hiding.”

I’ll bet old Bill and Hillary are frantic, calling in every old favor they can. Sure would be interesting to see who they’re talking to right now. I wonder what’s being said? Hope the FBI is on this...

Probably not just criminal - but TREASON.

Don’t be fooled. Nothing will happen before the election, and she’s still going to win.

It’s all be pre-determined..........

while the major media is all over this, their spin is it is a purely political move by Comey and shame on him for daring to try to influence an election 11 days out......their spin is 100% the Dem party line...as usual.....

Watergate's Carl Bernstein: FBI Wouldn't Reopen A Probe Unless It Is "A Real Bombshell"

"One opinion belongs to Watergate journalist Carl Bernstein, who just days after his infamous peer Bob Woodward said that the "Clinton foundation is corrupt, it's a scandal" said that "her conduct in regard to the e-mails is really indefensible and if there was going to be more information that came out, it was the one thing, as I said on the air last night, actually that could really perhaps affect this election. We don't know what this means yet except that it's a real bombshell."

“Why he did not, I don’t know, but part of me thinks that he did not want to put the FBI in the position of tanking a major party candidate and he decided to let the people decide. “

Comey has the opportunity to save face now by hanging his assistant who was in charge of the email investigation out to dry and blaming him for not providing Comey with all the facts. After all, the assistant’s wife took over $1 million from the Clinton Crime Association.....

"shall forfeit "his" office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States."

Hillary will claim it does not apply to "her."

they stumbled upon something that suggests criminality

Maybe, but hell, criminality was staring them in the face and they chose to ignore it for months/years.

I think it might be something that is so blatant that the investigators themselves would face criminal charges if they don't at least "investigate" and then cover up.

I don’t think it was Comey who found this new evidence. I believe it was probably the NYPD or the NY office of the FBI. They pushed Comey against a wall.

“The emails were said to have been stumbled upon rather than uncovered in a purposeful review”

Funny how a sexting case takes priority over treason by a high government official!!!

(5)In this in-depth investigation the FBI didn't bother to look at Huma's house for a computer or any other documents that might aid in the investigation (see (2) above).

Comey could only have asked Huma to turn over her devices. She wasn't compelled to do so. A Grand Jury with subpoena powers was never convened.

First, the WIkiLeaks are going to change how the political parties communicate. It will be much harder in the future to find incriminating evidence via email going forward.
Second, Clinton campaign will going to back to scan and fax machines where information is not digitally kept.
Third, I would invest in typewriter stocks. LOL

The Talk last night in the Twittersphere: Julian Assange released a message yesterday that said that the next batch of Wikileaks released will result “in HilLIARy’s arrest”— so the Tweeters think that the FBI wanted to get ahead of it-
-and I suspect that when they saw Trump had a crowd of 20,000 this past week, they realized that they’ll have a new sheriff in town...

AND I think that Carlos Danger has been trying to make a DEAL with them to get out of his own pickle (sorry) AND they already know what Assange is talking about- so they decided to take Carlos up on his offer, re-open the “investigation” using the “new evidence” because they ‘found’ additional laptops containing ten thousand or more emails (which they wouldn’t have time to read, so how did they know there was something incriminating on them?)- and do it all in time for the Friday night news dump.

IMHO, they made the announcement about ‘re-opening their investigation’, hoping Wikileaks will back off and not release whatever it is they have that will see HilLIARy arrested - because the FBI ALREADY KNOWS what it is and did nothing about it...now they can pretend to find it on the laptops they ‘found’ which were actually turned in by Wiener/Danger as part of a deal...
