Shock Polls: Trump Surges to Lead in Virginia, Tied in Colorado

New surveys show him making major swing-state gains, on cusp of paving electoral college path

Two shocking polls dropped on Wednesday show Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump may be finally on a path to an Electoral College victory.

Trump has been struggling to put together the final piece of the electoral puzzle in his presidential bid. In short, he needs 270 electoral votes, and taking the lead in some key swing states has remained elusive. But if the new polls are correct, at least two of those states are now firmly within Trump’s reach.

In Virginia, Trump has jumped from 34 percent to 44 percent. Clinton gets 41 percent, a 5-point drop in one month, according to Hampton University.

The Hampton poll was conducted from Oct. 26 to Oct. 30. The margin of error is plus-or-minus 4.58 percent....

Surely, Virginia, the State of Washington, Madison and Jefferson has not allowed its public education system to produce a voting population so ignorant of the ideas of liberty that they would vote for a presidential candidate whose liberal/progressive ideology must turn their Declaration's people-over-government ideas upside down in favor of coercive government control of individuals and freedom!

Photobucket

Our Constitution embodied a UNIQUE IDEA. Nothing like it had ever been done before. The power of the idea was in the recognition that people's rights are granted directly by the Creator - not by the state - and that the people, then, and only then, grant rights to government. The concept is so simple, yet so very fundamental and far-reaching.

CREATOR

People

Government

America's founders embraced a previously unheard-of political philosophy which held that people are "...endowed BY THEIR CREATOR with certain unalienable rights...." This was the statement of guiding principle for the new nation, and, as such, had to be translated into a concrete charter for government. The Constitution of The United States of America became that charter.

Other forms of government, past and present, rely on the state as the grantor of human rights. America's founders, however, believed that a government made up of imperfect people exercising power over other people should possess limited powers. Through their Constitution, they wished to "secure the blessings of liberty" for themselves and for posterity by limiting the powers of government. Through it, they delegated to government only those rights they wanted it to have, holding to themselves all powers not delegated by the Constitution. They even provided the means for controlling those powers they had granted to government.

This was the unique American idea. Many problems we face today result from a departure from this basic concept. Gradually, other "ideas" have influenced legislation which has reversed the roles and given government greater and greater power over individuals. Early generations of Americans pledged their lives to the cause of individual freedom and limited government and warned, over and over again, that eternal vigilance would be required to preserve that freedom for posterity.

I don’t see how Trump wins Virginia without also winning a number of other states like Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Colorado, Nevada and New Hampshire.

Well, you finally gave a positive response! I withdraw all my earlier negative comments about you.

SoFlaFreep is a scripted troll, he answers the same way in every thread..If the poll is bad he says "Very concerned, pray this reverses"..if it's good he says, "Prays this continues" Look at his posting history if you think I am trolling him or being mean. Also, he never interacts with any posters directly, defends or denies anything. The purpose of psy-ops is to demoralize you, if "it" was always negative, he'd get banned right quick. He throws us a bone. Watch the LA times poll threads, he's always the first one to comment. I just know his IP keep changing, he's behind a proxy server with in I bet an Asian or European based network. We have some genuine negative nellies here, but SoFLaFreep is a script some HRC Troll, assigned to us.

Observation here in the Florida panhandle is that early voting favors Trump by about 4-1. Pray that is enough to overcome the hanging chad areas of Southeast Florida.

Most states are fairly schizophrenic, with their capital counties and surrounding areas usually being extremely liberal.

Texas' marriage amendment referendum passed in every single county (254 counties in the state) except for Travis County, where Crazy Austin is located.

Virginia is a really schizophrenic place - Northern Virginia, the Washington DC collar counties, and the rest of the state, which is still orientated toward Christianity and older values. Think Liberty University in Lynchburg.

Although I am a Buddhist, I have Richmond covered. Weapons are clean and I have a few thousand rounds. Shout out to my followers at the NSA and other agencies: "Y'all have a good time, ya hear?". VA is a disappointment all these years after I moved here from NJ.
