I guess this may depend on why he is an ex-employee of Soros.

TITLE:

“Trump Wants Former Goldman Partner And Soros Employee To Serve As Treasury Secretary”

WEASEL OPENING:

“Donald Trump reportedly told his aides today that he wants Mnuchin to serve as his Treasury Secretary.”

“Reportedly” is not an announcement of anything.

And the comments are full of people spouting off about too many “joos”.

Mnuchin would be an excellent choice. He would do exactly as Trump wants him to do, and he's got all the chops. His past no more disqualifies him than does Trump's past prevent him from being the best president in U.S. History.

Grow up.

If Trump is elected, it will be a daily struggle to keep him on the rails and mindful of why the people chose him.

“Reportedly told his aids” should be an indicator. Plus, not everyone who ever worked for Goldman and/or Soros is crooked - lots of smart people and he will choose folks for their competence and willingness to follow through with his goals. If any decide to go their own way, they will be told to go their own way -— in another job.

Who knows what goes on in those echelons? But I have two seeming conflicting comments:

1) We’re just going to have to trust Mr. Trump that everything he says/does is directed at making America great again, and

2) Rewind the tape to an Alessio Restani (sp?) interview with BBC where he stated: “Governments don’t rule the world, Goldman Sachs rules the world”. All the newspapers the next day swore he was joking - including Forbes magazine - but I wouldn’t be so sure.

Ironically, Trump has often criticized Clinton (and his former competitor Ted Cruz) for their links to the big banks: "I know the guys at Goldman Sachs. They have total, total control over him. Just like they have total control over Hillary Clinton,” Trump said in one debate. But as we noted previously, he had no qualms, however, in hiring one of the most prominent Goldman alums to raise money for him.

Crap journalism. There's just a tiny bit of difference between knowing people in an industry, and taking millons of dollars in bribes from people in an industry.

Is there anything BUT crap journalism anymore? Or is journalism now merely the ability to lie in plain sight? Is that what these sh!theads high five each other over their ability to pull off?

Vermin.

It is one thing to be “used by” Wall Street types; it is all together a different matter to “use” Wall Street types...

Keep that dog on a tight leash Donald!

Is it written in the Constitution where I can’t find it that states that the Treasury Secretary has to be from Goldman Sachs? Because they all are lately.

If this guy knows where all the bodies are buried and works for the MAGA cause, this is a GOOD hire. You don’t break crime syndicates by the testimony of Boy Scouts...

Zero Hedge can be taken with a large grain of salt, but the Trump honeymoon could very well be short as Goldman-Sachs and Council on Foreign Relations associates fill many Trump Administration positions. I don’t see Trump seeking advice from Ron Paul or Pat Buchanan on personnel.
