Comedian Dave Chappelle has been prepping for his November 12 hosting slot on Saturday Night Live with a series of surprise shows at The Cutting Room in New York. On Friday night, he shocked the crowd with a 60-minute set largely devoted to slamming Hillary Clinton.
He was particularly agitated about what he believes was Clintons role in leaking a surreptitiously recorded conversation between Republican nominee Donald J. Trump and TV personality Billy Bush. What I heard on that tape was gross, Chappelle said. But the way I got to hear it was even more gross. You know that came directly from Hillary. He stated this had put him off a candidate he had already known was not right. He likened voting for her to a hypothetical situation of actress Halle Berry breaking wind in his face during sexual relations. Im still going to go for it, he said. But I wish she hadnt done that thing.

Dave Chappelle is and outside of the box thinking black comedian just like Richard Pryor was
Im not saying he’s any kind of right winger... but he’s not a party-line left or lib thinker... Pryor was like that... you paid attention to Prior he was really interesting
I always liked him. His act is incisive, accurate, and most importantly, really funny. My estimation of him just went way up. He is an independent thinker.
Now that was unexpected.
Chappelle is one of the funniest freshest comedians around.
You’re right he is like Pryor.
And in related news, NBC has announced that due to unforeseen circumstances, November 12 will feature an encore performance of SNL previously recorded.
Trump landslide.
“She ain’t right and everybody knows it.”
I have been a David Chapelle fan since I first saw his “Black White Supremacist” sketch. I knew he had giant brass balls to do something like that, and that he knew he was on the cutting edge of race-influenced comedy, a la Richard Oryor. Chapelle quit his show because he got pissed off at the network for interfering in his creativity (as I’ve heard it), and he retired and did his own thing with his family farm in Ohio until a few years ago when he decided he needed to get back out on the road as a standup comedian. He akways hated working the studio set with producers and directors that squelched his stage personality. He was lucky to get as much out of Chapelle’s show as he did.
I'm not ashamed to admit that Dave Chappelle is one of the funniest people I've ever heard. LMAO.
I wish I could find a Youtube clip of his "Niggar Family" skit ... one of the best segments in the history of television.
Okay so far Chappelle, Roseanne Barr, and Calypso Louie. lol. As people have been saying, “Best election evah!” But I think, “Weirdest election evah!”
I don’t have time to read the article, but nowhere in the excerpt does he defend Trump and he says he’s still going to vote for her.
But he’s still voting Clinton, right?
He had already voted early for Hillary, but appears to be regretting it.
He likened voting for her to a hypothetical situation of actress Halle Berry breaking wind in his face during sexual relations. Im still going to go for it, he said. But I wish she hadnt done that thing.
Do what?!!
Ya lost me
I have no idea who he votes for. It wouldn’t surprise me if he wrote in “Dave Chappelle” on his ballot.
That was Chris rock, back when he was still funny
