She’s just not likable.

Does Trump have a lot of faults? Sure he does. But the optimism of the man is contagious, he made people feel good about the country again.

Also I have never seen a presidential candidate work harder. I was exhausted just watching him in the closing days. I felt bad early today thinking of how hard he had worked against all odds, only to lose. Just saw the Chicago Cubs win a World Series - a Trump win now would be beyond words.

I told a couple of people several months ago that Trump is excellent at reading tea leaves and would be able to tap into voter anger and frustration. They just laughed that off.

I did predict that Clinton would win in a thread a few days ago, and based that on covert backing of a candidate (Clinton) (e.g. Harwood via Wikileaks) and the most overt backing of a candidate I've ever seen (e.g. multiple NYT reporters, journalist guests on the Diane Rehm show, etc). I mean, there was no holding back. I thought it was too much to overcome. But Trump is really a master at seeing the forest through the trees.

That was exactly what made Reagan so great: His enthusiasm.
