Thank you, Luvy, for preparing
the Canteen for today’s activities.

I tried taking the quiz, but
hardly any of the selections seemed right.
I'd say my Christmas is more like Scrooge.
It starts out Ba-humbug and then,
maybe, just maybe something good
happens before the end.

Finished my Santa run yesterday.
Today, I have to take Eada in to see the doc.
We discovered a couple of sore spots on her hind legs.
Tomorrow, will be take mother to
do the Christmas dinner shopping.
I'm exhausted and not even finished.

Time for me to make my rounds.
But, please stay right where you are.

Now remember, the Canteen is

I just love the darkness of the original, the black and white film truly gives you a feel of the desperation of his time. Some of the supporting acting was a little bit of over acting but still all in all a great film.

As I mentioned, I take back all the negative feelings about the movie - only watched it when I had to (relatives house and etc)

Sorry, I gotta go with Die Hard as my favorite Christmas movie. I'm suffering under sugar overload with all the Hallmark movies and Food Network Christmas Baking competitions going on.

We need something different, so here's more music. I remember hearing this in the Canteen many years ago, and since then I've kept it in my Christmas play list as a favorite. Enjoy, y'all!

I hear ya, Jinxy, about those Hallmark Movies! Ack! I can’t stand them....and they’ve been talking Christmas since LAST New Years! Is it any wonder people get tired of the word? LOL!
