Canadian colleges are seeing an uptick in applications and web traffic from the U.S. since President-elect Donald Trump's win.
U.S. applications to the University of Toronto are up 70 percent from this point last year, while McMaster University’s American applications are up 34 percent, according to the Associated Press.
ADVERTISEMENT "I think everybody in international education is a little uneasy, in part because some of the rhetoric in the campaign frightened people overseas," Stephen Dunnett, University of Buffalo’s vice provost for international education, told the AP.
"It's going to be perhaps a little bit rocky for a couple of years."

No USA nor Canadian Government scholarships either. The only ones available will be those provided by the schools and I can pretty well guarantee you that those will NOT be available for USA citizens.
No student loans either.
Go to Canada for college and it is on YOUR dime (or your mommy and daddy’s).

2) There has been a trend toward going to Canada for quite some time because many top Canadian schools are cheaper than US schools if you are full pay. But our special snowflakes are usually dissatisfied with the dorming experience at a Canadian public— quite minimalistic compared to most US schools. 3) Also, more Canadian students prefer US schools than vise-versa and this trend has not changed.
They did change apparently. It used to be free but very selective. I looked into it and it appears they are charging tuition now It’s about 13,000 a year for international (USA) students. Guess they needed the money.

and the best part? Regardless of your political affiliation, canadians in general hate Americans. They’ll still be ridiculed.

I know I do a lot of business with western Canadians but please to don’t tell anyone. We wouldn’t want the word to get out and convince some it’s a piss-poor choice.

Poor muslim “victims” hedging bets by sending applications to Canadian schools in addition to US schools. East Asians are not and have no reason to be afraid of going to US universities.
And Americans who do this out of some fear are not STEM and should just stay out of the US for good.

Well why aren’t they going to mexico? That is sooo racist. And why are they inquiring about visas? Why are they just not going over illegally? No country is allowed to restrict its citzenry. Right?
It sounds easy but most snowflakes aren’t that smart and will will return when they find out that they don’t speak Canuck (North) or Hispanic (South)....
