American B-2 stealth bombers and armed drones have attacked two Islamic State military camps in Libya, killing 80 IS militants near their former bastion of Sirte, Pentagon chief Ash Carter said on Thursday.
"They certainly are people who were actively plotting operations in Europe and may also have been connected to some attacks that have already occurred in Europe," Carter said on his last day in office.
The strike late Wednesday came a month after the United States officially wrapped up military operations in and around Sirte, where it had conducted nearly 500 strikes to help the Libyan unity government expel militants from the coastal city.

That was exactly my thought. “Oh, so they are destroying the Jihadi training camps that Obama built?”
Funny how if Clinton or Obama used military force, how different the stories are.
If it’s a Dem, they only killed terrorists, and it was effective.
If Rep bombs or uses military force, only civilians were killed, and it was ineffective, and likely to have a blow back of reprisals.
Dont see how that works. How would bombing it destroy the eveidence? Im sure our military has reams of photo recon of the places.
There would not be any ISIS in Libya if we had not illegally removed their government.
Hillary had the support of McCain, Graham and Rubio.

I’m just wondering how much per head the cost was.
I’m not saying I disapprove, and maybe I’m not grasping the actual cost/benefit ratio, but I believe the B-2 carries out its missions from a base in Missouri. Sending a B-2 from Missouri to the Middle East in order to take out 80 guys seems a little over-the-top. I am a little skeptical that it was the only way to get the job done.
This is a rather good thing, if true. Note that they used the B2 because ISIS captured a lot the Libyan governments anti-air missiles systems.

Why didn’t 0dunga do this a year ago? The timing of this strike is HIGHLY suspect. The timing of the strike says more than the strike itself.
YEah they saw Obama was doing nothing and Trump was coming in...they want to keep their jobs.
