The same way Trump is folding now and giving up HIS power to the LYIN RYAN??? Once Trump gives this power to LYIN RYAN he will find that his WHOLE agenda will be only a VERY SMALL portion of what he truly wanted such as tax cuts!!!

But as proud as I am to label myself a Republican, there is one label that I hold above all else — American.

Republicans don't read New York magazine, let alone write for it.

Neither do Americans.

I don’t think Trump is folding. He’s only been into office for two months, and he’s finding out just how big of a crap sandwich has landed on his plate.

You wade deep into the swamp, you’re gonna find it infested with all sorts of slimy creepy crawlers.

Maria Shriver and the Kennedy crime family were calling the shots in California to cement Democratic control of the state in perpetuity. Arnold was just a useful idiot.

Maybe he can learn from his mistakes and become a great Senator—BETTER THAN BOXER OR NANCY! Even on his worst day he is better than those two on their best day.

If The Governator ran as a Dem, CA Republicans might have a chance to elect a senator.

“He FAILED as Governor of Calif.
He FAILED as Trump’s replacement on the Apprentice.
He’s too old to be an action movie star.
He screwed the maid 4 years ago and now has an illegitimate child.
He failed to attend his 17 year old illegitimate son’s high school graduation.
Now, he’s going to run for the Senate?”

Actually, he would fit right in.

Hard to believe that a guy who always celebrated being in California would want to spend years in DC. Also how many people who have had executive power want to become legislators? Similar reasons to why it never made sense that Obama might want to spend the rest of his life on the Supreme Court.

IIRC, he tried to get some reforms through, was thwarted by the leftist legislature, gave up and just filled out the terms. California FReepers, please feel free to correct me if necessary.

The Running Man was pretty good too.

True Lies is my favorite action/comedy/drama! He said "Sorry" a lot in that one. And Jamie Lee was still hot.

"He tried for a year or so, gave up against the entrenched interests, and folded."

In his defense, he KNEW that the state needed entitlement reform.

His big four proposals were defeated by the UNIONS, who spent untold millions to defeat them.

He tried to inject some sense into that state, but they would have none of it.

So in retrospect, Arnold was correct.

The public sector clods and parasites won their battle, but look at what a disaster their "victory" has caused.

Sure, he folded.

How could anyone stand up to that onslaught?

The leftists have virtually limitless funds in CA.

I just looked up Running Man on Imdb.

The story is set in 2017.

He ran as a right of center republican. He governed as a left of center democrat. Now people think “conservative” policies are failures because he sucked.
