What would be a dream night for Suly and Anaximandro Amable, a newly married couple who went to Cancun for their honeymoon, became a bitter experience on Monday March 13.
During a family show on the high seas, young American spring breakers began to sing the controversial Build That Wall chant, which shocked Mexican national tourists and workers.
Anaximandro, from Perú, made the following statement on social networks: Today I was with Suly, my wife (who is a native of Mexico), watching an entertainment show off the coast of Cancun aboard a boat, and at the end of the show, a flock of Americans (maybe under the influence of alcohol, or maybe not), began to sing the infamous Build that wall chant louder and louder.

“During a family show on the high seas, young American spring breakers began to sing the controversial Build That Wall chant, which shocked Mexican national tourists and workers.”
Not as shocked as college graduates who can’t get jobs, can’t get to see Dr., aren’t safe driving on the roads or walking down city streets....
Get used to it Pedro.
Hypocrisy much?
It was rude. They should have chanted “Construye esa pared!” in Spanish.
You come to MY country and march through the streets waving Mexican flags, demanding rights, using benefits paid for by working Americans, and voting in MY elections and have the AUDACITY to tell me it is unacceptable for kids to do a little rabble rousing in the opposite direction? #### you sideways with a #### (yeah, I’m having that kind of day).
If their kids can come to this country and fly the Mexican flag, then why shouldn’t our kids be allowed to go there and chant, “Build that wall!”?
I have to wonder what was the ‘show’ all about? What was the trigger toward politics and chanting?
“This is just one of the many blameworthy behaviors that young spring breakers have shown recently in Cancun and that are described as acts of xenophobia and discrimination against Mexicans within their own country, which is (or should be) totally unacceptable.”
Really. How about the times the mexican flag is flying in cities all over L.A. and we have to press 1 for English? And again, did anyone record the fake ‘event’? What?? No smartphone to record? According to the story, it happened more than once.
Fake story. And the gullible idiots who commented in the article.
BUILD THAT WALL!
Such fine whine!
Misleading headline.
They were onboard ship, moored at Cancun.
Huge difference.
To chant at some cantina or club in Cancun would have been boorish (and dangerous).
On the ship — same as being in the USA for all intents and purposes.
Whoops — posted too soon.
This was in one of those pirate shows they do on replica ships.
So what they did was indeed boorish and dangerous.
PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST TO MY POST ABOVE!!!
Exactly so.
I have never understood why it is "greed" to want to keep the money you have earned but not greed to want to take somebody else's"
Wahhh... We Want Free Stuff, You Greedy S.O.B.s
Aw. Poor babies. Imagine how I felt watching an illegal in El Paso piss on the ground and shout, here is your anchor baby.
'Vernon Dozier · Works at Belmar Academy So embarrasing. Many of my people (Americans) are so ignorant. The majority I think are not, who knows, maybe they are...but even as a college age person, I never looked at Mexico as my personal toy. I learned the language, culture, people..this attitude of "everything exists for my use" is wretched and quite prevalent. There are many Americans with respect and class, but these in the story are trash.
Sadly, Mexican nationals honed the art of coming to a foreign nation and insulting it’s citizens.
Paybacks a bitch isn’t it.
I’m not particularly in favor of this, but a lot of U. S. Citizens are so peeved at what has been taking place, they aren’t going to take it quietly any longer.
Can’t say as I blame them either.
That’s actually pretty stupid and rude.
Snowflake alert! Snowflake alert!
That is a bit tacky, especially since they think it’s fine to go down there and spend all those Yankee Dollars.
