C’mon. If Ryan stabbed you in the back, Trump did also. He twisted arms, had WH invites to convince reluctant legislators and even visited Capital Hill (rare for a President unless they really want something.) If you’re really honest, this is a Trump/Ryan bill.

President Trump supported Ryan on this bill...yes he did, and so did the V. President...both knowing what Ryan was doing...

Pass it or another version, who cares? Obama will take it as a personal insult that his signature legacy was repealed. Thereafter, it is lunch with some judge and whatever the GOP passes will be overturned.

Okay. Help me here. How does pushing, arm twisting, visiting Capital Hill and having congress members over to the WH show Ryan backstabbed? Looks like full court press from the President to pass a backstabbing bill. I really think some people can’t or won’t see reality.

We elected them, they work for US, why can’t they hash this out so we can see and hear who does what?
Why is everything done ‘behind closed doors’...we are the ones that have to live with it, so we should be able to see and hear about it...they are living off of your and my tax dollars, that should be enough right there!!!

A full repeal bill is all of one to two pages; seriously.
A reconciliation bill that repeals certain paragraphs and subitems, can be hundreds of pages.
The House need only introduce and vote on full repeal AND THEY’RE DONE!
And then the onus of the politics goes to the Senate.
In the Senate, McConnell needs only to schedule debate on the House full repeal and then call for cloture, AND HE’S DONE!
Once the democrats fail to vote for cloture, THEY OWN THE FAILURE TO REPEAL!
This could have taken LESS THAN A DAY with maybe a week’s worth of press coverage.
Then in the months following, Obamacare would fail to fund itself because it’s not affordable and it would collapse on its own. People would lose health coverage and Obama and his democrats would own it.
President Trump doesn’t want to see people suffer but he could always say he tried to repeal but the democrats insisted on keeping their unaffordable, unworkable, Obamacare.
Let the democrats burn and fry for 2018.
So simple.
