Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice only needed to confirm one aspect of the intelligence unmasking story for all of the dots to connect. She made that confirmation within two minutes of her interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell.

Susan Rice @00:51 – …”Let me explain how this works. I was a National Security Adviser, my job is to protect the American people and the security of our country. That’s the same as the Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense and CIA Director.; and every morning, to enable us to do that, we receive – from the intelligence community – a compilation of intelligence reports that the IC, the intelligence community, has selected for us –on a daily basis– to give us the best information as to what’s going on around the world.”

EDITED In a book written about Susan Rice, she said she routinely confers with President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton before making decisions.
Rice also explained that “people know not to mess with me. And if they haven’t learned, and they try, then they will learn.”

Why is that so important in the context of explosive revelations that Susan Rice, President Obama’s national-security adviser, confidant, and chief dissembler, called for the “unmasking” of Trump campaign and transition officials whose identities and communications were captured in the collection of U.S. intelligence on foreign targets?
Because we’ve been told for weeks that any unmasking of people in Trump’s circle that may have occurred had two innocent explanations: (1) the FBI’s investigation of Russian meddling in the election and (2) the need to know, for purposes of understanding the communications of foreign intelligence targets, the identities of Americans incidentally intercepted or mentioned.
The unmasking, Obama apologists insist, had nothing to do with targeting Trump or his people. That won’t wash.

Rice's interest was most assuredly not in national security but to advance the political interests of the Democratic party (and Hillary Clinton).......and, not incidentally, Obama. And she used the surveillance and intelligence power of the US govt to do it.
How is it possible that everyone who got to see these Presidential Daily Briefings actually had the security clearance to do so??? No way in hell that is possible.It is a felony to send Top Secret info to someone who does not have the clearance.

EXACTLY. Occam’s Razor, it is by far the simplest explanation of the entire Russia/Trump garbage for which there was never any evidence. And there is also no reason to think that Trump who wants to increase defense spending and make America Great Again would be friendlier to Putin than Clinton who sold 20% of our uranium to Putin in return for bribes to her husband and her sham foundation. You can’t bribe Trump he has a billion already.
Notice how the Times is careful not to say she told the American public the attack was the result of protesting a YouTube video with around 700 total views. If they include that "above the fold" most people will remember that "characterization" as pure BS and naturally assume she's full of it again. The fact is people don't believe her because she told such an obvious lie on National television and one of the current accusations is that she did the same to Judy Woodruff two weeks ago. Clearly there is a pattern they must hide.
