President Donald Trump sat down with Maria Bartiromo for an interview that will air Wednesday at 6:00 AM ET on Fox Business Network.
The president is expected to address the Syria airstrikes, the state of the U.S.-Russia relationship, new Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, his meeting with Chinas president, his tough talk on North Korea and much more.
During the interview that was prerecorded President Trump said he was sending an entire armada to North Korea including submarines.

yep. This is a well thought out and very deliberate leak. Some of the snowflakes on our side seem to forget that Trump advisers McMaster and Mattis know just a bit about psychological war as well the kinetic kind.
Many of the names of ships in Nelson’s fleet were in the Grand Fleet order of battle at Jutland too.
“Iraq is not N.Korea. N. Korea is a different animal altogether. Its not even a close comparison.”
Correct.
The NORKS can and will fight.
“20-30 ships is an armada??”
Yes.
That grouping is more dominant and more capable than any fleet before in history.
Compared, contemporaneously, with the rest of the world’s fleets.
They have even worse hardware than Iraq did. The difference is: (i) their artillery will level Seoul before being taken down; (ii) China, as much as they are fed up with NK, will take a dim view of any attempts to resolve the NK situation with force.
Imagine our response if China tried to end the drug war in Mexico by sending in 400,000 chinese troops.
We would resolve it on their behalf.
LOL
Now imagine if Mexico had rudimentary but effective nukes, was threatening everyone in the neighborhood...ESPECIALLY China.
Nearly daily threats of nuclear inferno.
“Its about the same population as S. CA. except there are about 15 million in this region. And every day millions commute back and forth to and from Los Angeles. Very slowly, but its done daily”.
The whole S Cal. population does not commute daily. During an evacuation, the whole population is supposedly on the way out.
That’s why I stipulated this:
It would take more than a few days to evacuate in an orderly fashion....if people stayed calm and there were no breakdowns.
It would be a bad mess, no matter what.
My Dad fought in Korea. ‘51/53.
3 Battle stars....
Would never eat rice.
He said “If you saw what “Mama-San” did in those rice fields, you’d understand...
Those brown spots in the rice? Hmmmmm.....
Well we only have one kind to send, nuclear powered fast attacks. The FBMs don’t need to go anywhere, as they can hit NK from a long long way away if that were ever an issue, and let us pray that it does not come to that.
Given that the hero of that battle is National Security Advisor you would think some more people around here would make themselves familiar with one of the most famous tank battles in history.
Personally I think we are the diversion.
Doesn’t matter if lil Kim knows what might be coming. I think Trump is giving him a last chance to straighten out his act. He probably won’t, but that’s OK, too.
In this case, we advertise the move when we know there is not a damned thing the Norks can possibly do about it, and any counter-moves they attempt to make will be carefully observed by us. It puts pressure on the Fat Nork Dwarf and his military officers. All we do is invite them to make mistakes in case anything should escalate.
I admit it would be interesting to see the effects of nuclear blast(s) on a country so incredibly hilly as NK.
The effects would be extremely uneven, I’d posit.
I believe only one is being refueled and refurbished...the others are in home port. 3 are at sea, one is home ported in Yokosuka. At 40 miles per hour, they can be there pretty quick.
Some years ago, I was on the USS Enterprise in the calm, humid waters of Tonkin Gulf. We were bombing in Vietnam daily. One morning, woke up and the ship was moving fast in the open ocean. It was very cold. Went up on deck and looked around the horizon, I remember counting 27 ships including a carrier and variety of other ships. Went down to the hangar bay and crews were loading A-4s with nuclear weapons, surrounded by Marine guards. Word eventually came down that the Koreans had shot down an EC121 recon plane and we went up to rattle our sabers.
N. Korea can destroy Seoul (25.6 million metro area) in 2 hours with artillery; you OK with that?
USA/SKorea would need to Pearl Harbor them to have any chance of averting catastrophe in S.Korea.
If N. Korea counter-attacks.... messy.
