In a possible breakthrough for U.S. Republicans' effort to roll back Obamacare, the House of Representatives plans to hold a vote Thursday on compromise legislation, potentially ending a logjam that has delayed advancing President Donald Trump's campaign promise to repeal the law.

The decision to hold a vote comes after key moderate lawmakers met with Trump on Wednesday and said a revised bill might win approval as conservatives voiced no objections.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy said Republican leadership is confident there is enough support for the bill to pass.

Well if they don’t need a single democrat to vote for it then why not pass something good......like a full repeal first?

BECAUSE THEY AREN'T ENOUGH CONSERVATIVES TO ACCOMPLISH THAT. It's not rocket science to figure that out.

The Freedom Caucus and Trump got as much as they could.

The Freedom Caucus members seem happy. So, what are you griping about?

It's an outbreak of Trump Derangement Syndrome. It crosses party and ideaological lines.

The problem isn't just that we were all so wrong, but that we don't yet understand why we were all so wrong.

The Process has to get started, we need to know who is on record for supporting Obamacare or know they are against it because it’s not a full repeal. The Congress got sworn in 4 months ago & passed 29 bills,

Vacation Speaker Ryan has the house out for Mother’s Day Week & Graduation Weekends, then probably 2 weeks off for Memorial Day Weekend. So this will be about it for the month of May, what a lazy ass considering he so into working out!

What you said!!! Exactly.

I don’t use car insurance to pay for gas. Why use health insurance to pay for a hangnail?

No. My negative comment was pre-emptive. If Rand Paul and Dave Brat are willing to vote for it, I am probably OK with it

Ridiculous. You can have insurance if you have pre exisiting conditions but if you go without for 63 days you are black listed?

I do not have any insurance can not afford it and if they pass this guess what I still won’t have it because I still will not be able to afford it.
