The marginalization and rejection of Biblical Christianity in American society led to this woman's delusional behavior. Some people are attracted to Islam because, if nothing else, this religion offers absolute values, which is appealing in a world of moral relativism and subjectivism, which has infected the institutions of our society, including the mainline Protestant denominations and the left wing of Catholicism.
Barring a large scale Christian revival, there is scant hope for this country and the Western democracies.
