There were quite a few memorable moments in NBC News’ one-on-one interview with President Donald Trump that aired tonight. He talked about how he was thinking about the Russia/Trump “made up story” that was on his mind when he fired FBI Director James Comey. He mentioned how good a person Michael Flynn is. He discussed how his “great” conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov could lead to international peace.
And he brought up how a certified letter he has should clear things up when it comes to his ties to Russia.

I think the CEO analogy is less than ideal when trying to understand how governments works. The Mafia is a better analogy IMO. There are various crime families that vie for control of the organization every four years and Donald Trump screwed them all and then left all their henchmen in a position to return the favor.

To get to Holt’s audience, is my take on why he gave him the interview. Trump likely knew it would be bent, rude, twisted and edited to shreds by the network hacks but he accomplished being in front of his targeted audience unironically calling itself ‘the resistance’. He’s already using the fact that the interview was a media crap fest to widen the public’s realization that the overall MSM is not a fair institution. The only counter weight to the free media is to reduce more people’s faith in what is published. Truth is a powerful tool, but you have to reach the one’s you want to figure it out, and truth takes time to prove out.
Because at some point everyone needs to listen to and take advice.
When I see the letter and its contents I’ll be apologetic. Until that time I will remain very skeptical.

I agree completely with the statement you made. It is accurate and decisive. Take it one step further and charge hillary, Obama, etc.. now. Don’t give them time to regroup. There is more than enough evidence to convict all the Libs involved. Would also increase the employment level of the Federal Court system. I doubt the Libs could be attacking Trump from a defensice position. Either way it would cost them dearly.

Keeping the public focused on his message is part of Trump’s job. If he cedes the messaging to the MSM/Swamp they will destroy him. He has to counter them. Fortunately he can walk and chew gum. He doesn’t sleep much.
As for the mess, that is precisely the message the MSM/Democrats are putting out: that the Trump administration is a mess. How can you argue against Trump setting the record straight, when you yourself have bought the Leftist spin hook, line and sinker?

I am neither a supporter or a hater and if you believe there is no in between then you make common cause with the progs, antifas, and dems. I accept Pres. Trump as the far better of the choice I was presented with. What I find hard to fathom isthe full blow acceptance and adulation he receives here when his bona fides as a conservative are somewhat lacking.

The main point of the Russian problem has never been that he made money from Russia. He did business there so he made money, helost money, just like Scotland and any other place he did business. The contention is that the Russian efforts in hacking the Dems was to have in Trump a POTUS grateful for their help. Finding any contacts they had with Trump people they believe will prove their point that Trump is a Muscovite Candidate. The letter produced by Pres. Trump’s lawyers does nothing to address this accusation.
