Both sides get exactly what they need from this imbroglio. What’s not to like?
The “Trump is crazy” media push was back in February or March wasn’t it? The current talking point is Russia. They can’t even get their own propaganda right.
More than a metaphor you’ve built here. Thing is the left has made gender irrelevant. Women want to be on the front lines but expect accommodation.
Trump is just going where the left has led us.
So my thoughts on this twitter/media exchange as a Trump supporter. I’m getting tired of the Presidential twitter storm. Our President should be a role model for our kids and all American citizens. To stoop to the level of the media pundits is beneath the office of the President of the United States no matter what the comments. President Trump needs to refrain from any disparaging comments of show hosts, celebrities and others who criticize him. Stick to the job at hand Mr. President, you are bigger than these people but with the comments you send out it appears to many that you are on the same level as they are, not a higher platform of which you were elected to assume.
No they are not. They are looking for any way possible to stay out of prison and in power.
Our allies aren't looking at tweets they are looking at actions.
Two tweets is not a twitter storm. I disagree with the rest of your comments too. Where were all the elitists bloviating about Trump when Bill Clinton used an intern for a humidor and got a hummer in the oval office while on the phone with a senator from South Dakota? Trump tweets are on that level?? No.
And besides that Trump is sticking to the job better than any president in my lifetime, even Regan. He can multitask.
In these USA we don't have "leaders". We have elected representatives.

They’re such hypocrites. The viciously attack President Trump and then lie and say they don’t. It’s not like he attacked nice people. They’re arrogant, godless, mean-spirited losers.
Joe should spend his time enjoying that carnal delight instead of harping on Trump. Mika’s clock is ticking and time and gravity will render her less and less appealing. Joe’s clock has already run out if it ever even ran.

Frankly, I understand what you’re saying, but then again I look at 2001-2009 and how GHWB rarely (never?) hit back at the LIES told about him.
Those lies stuck, and he left office with little support and was unable to even be a surrogate for the incredibly pathetic John McInsane on the campaign trail.
The media is truly an enemy, and enemies need to be taken out. Yes, some can be ignored. But many cannot. Trump doesn’t go after every person or entity that blasts him. But he does find some, and he unleashes.
And that gets noticed.
I posted on another thread the Abraham Lincoln quote about General Grant. The story goes that Lincoln was being advised about what a low life Grant was—a drunkard, foul mouthed, etc. Lincoln’s response was said to be “I cannot spare this man. He fights.” And fight he did. He was a big reason Lincoln’s side won the War Between the States.
Trump, I think, could be the same way.
My spouse is appalled at Trump’s words and behavior sometimes, but said this to me the other day about him: “I don’t like everything he does, but I believe that men come along for particular times, and this is a time when we need someone like him.” Words to that effect.
I hope you’ll at least understand (if not agree) what we mean when we say Trump isn’t the instigator here. He knows how to mend fences, so I’m sure if Mika and Joe stop calling him “deranged” or “like a kid with pooped pants” or insulting his staff, etc., then he probably won’t go overboard in ripping them.
Anyway, this is as I see it. Not trying to attack you, just explain a different pov. :)
