Scarborough Compares Trump to Nixon just before Resignation
Legal Insurrection ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 07/12/2017 6:11:19 AM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

Does Joe Scarborough believe that Donald Trump will be resigning the presidency sometime this summer? Seems so, judging from Joe’s baleful proclamation on today’s Morning Joe. Said Scarborough:

“they have dug so far down low into the bunker that this is not Nixon in ’73. This is Nixon in the summer of ’74.”

Nixon resigned the presidency on August 8, 1974.

Yes, are correct, Joe’s skeletons in his closet are bigger than he is.

“Pence is far right, where Trump is moderate-right.”

Pence has been known to cave under pressure like most Repubs. He caved on the gay marriage law in Indiana when he was governor. He could become a eunuch if he ended up as president.

Nixon’s ‘crimes’ were NOTHING compared to Hillary and Obamas. In fact, his resignation was from a coup. So in that respect, yes, Trump is similar to Nixon.

That intern who died in his office, was she cute?

I don't know about her, but I do know that the vast majority of females who work in the capitol building are quite cute.

I used to be in DC a lot back in the 1980s, and had many occasions to visit the Capitol Building. I specifically remember thinking "a guy could fall in love several times a second in this place."

I suspect that prediction is a case of “wishful thinking leaves me no place to hide” where the prediction is wildly blown out of proportion by the desires of the predictor. When it fails to occur, he may be looking for a rock to crawl under.

The quote is from Jefferson Airplane’s “Turn My Life Down”, perhaps dating me.

I agree with most of your assessment. However, I think many low info voters thing they will get either the hildabeast as second place finisher, or a do-over.

The idiots have no clue how the 25th amendment works and that spreads into the congresss critters and talking heads.

If they succeed it is to bias the midterms and tarnish the reputation of Pence, like they did Ford so we can get another peanut farmer or bubba type.

This is also one day after a column appeared discussing Joe as a possible 2020 independent candidate.

Joe could pull in the Lindsey Graham vote...maybe...

If Trump does not do something to put the queen of mean in jail soon, there will be no distinction.

I agree. The left is setting the stage and as with Nixon, the GOP has no spine to support the Republican President. This is their wet dream.

The modus operandi of the MSM is to keep the barrage against Trump going full steam in order to smear and tarnish his image beyond repair. I think it will backfire. Already has with CNN.

Trump must be the cleanest politician to ever run for office, considering that the MSM, after all these many months, has to resort to lies, deception, spin, and twist.

The MSM are exclusively beta males and venomous feminists.

He was eleven years old in 1974 and probably sulked because his parents had the Watergate news on instead of whatever cartoons or action/adventure shows young Joe preferred. It was probably a bit premature for Young Joe to have a girlfriend other than maybe one of the centerfolds in his old many’s “Playboy” (or “Penthouse” if he was real lucky), and his biggest manhood concerns were his lack of pubic hair and those pesky nocturnal emissions.
