The first “shots” in our new civil war were fired after Charlottesville when many Democratic leaders claimed that they had the right to use physical force against anyone they didn’t like.
While cowardly leftist leaders are trying to portray themselves as fighting Hitler they are really fighting anyone they don’t agree with. Remember that some Democrats said that Rep. Steve Scalise had it coming since he opposed gun control and that Democrats have been silent when left-wing violence was used to prevent Republicans marching in a parade in Portland.
Facing a continued loss of power because their radical agenda is toxic to most Americans, the Democrat leadership -- which includes the MSM -- have decided that they have the right to physically attack anyone who stands in their way.
Like their Nazi and Communist forefathers, today’s Democrat leaders are comfortable sending swarms of Brownshirts out to beat into submission anyone who stands between them and power.
Under Obama, Democrats renounced the rule of law by declaring that they could choose to not enforce laws they didn’t like and make up laws that Congress never passed. Now they’re saying that they have the right to attack anyone who dares speak out in disagreement. Rep. Scalise wasn’t a Nazi or white nationalist, nor were the Republicans in Portland, or the speakers that Democrats forcibly prevented from speaking in Berkeley. Yet the Democratic leadership’s condemnation of all of those events has been muted at best.

Hard to have a Civil War when there is only 1 army in the field. The surrender monkey GOP has abjectly surrendered already.
There is absolutely no way this doesn’t end in bloodshed an civil war. We are too far gone.
Somebody somewhere wants another civil war and is doing what they can to create one.
The Left has been working on this since the 60’s. They are tired of waiting, they want their Socialist Revolution now. Hillary was going to lead them into it, and that was pulled out from under them by the average American who doesn’t want what they are offering.

I have not listened to the Washington Generals of American Politics for 15 years now.
They had the White House and Congress, plus a mandate to make us safe by “any means necessary” in 2001-2003. What meaningful act did they take? Zilch... They lost me at that point.
There are american patriots out there, but the events so far have not overcome normalcy bias. Events will overcome that bias in another few months at the soonest, another couple of years at the longest at the rate we’re going.

It's more than that, Mr. Trinko. The entire Democrat Party and a large number of Republicans have given their seal of approval on Antifa's actions. They have endorsed terrorism as a valid means of political action. And of course all of the #CorporateFakeNewsIndustry has done so as well.
IMO that makes every one of them legitimate targets if things escalate much further. Endorsing terrorism is sedition. They are the Un-Americans!
1) I don't know. It could be people who think they'll come out on top if there's a civil war, or it could be people who want to provoke the other side into reckless behavior that would discredit them.
Extremists on both sides see their membership rolls rise if the political climate becomes more heated and violent. That guy in Charleston who killed those people wanted to provoke a "race war." There are people like that in the world. There are also people who want to provoke a government crackdown on dissent.

Oh, stop it. There isn't going to be a civil war. 99.5% of Americans aren't even paying attention to any of this nonsense.
All of these rallies are being attended by, at most, by a few hundred nuts on each side. Everyone else in America is enjoying their Saturday after a hard week of work. Personally, I'm taking my wife and kids to a work function this afternoon, and guess what, nobody is going to be discussing this crap.

Definitely; when this started in Spain in 1936 the conservative politicians fled to safe areas rather than remain in Madrid. Days later the army revolted and the real war got underway.
If you’ve seen the Boston footage there are certainly many thousands of Bolsheviks there. You have to factor in the people with meaningless lives who only find real purpose in this nonsense. I was surprised to see the mother of the woman hit by the car in Charlotteville begging people to give meaning to her daughter’s death (and life); she seemed to know she would have been very unexceptional otherwise, and would be missed only by her dog.
