No, she wouldn’t be happy if I was hurt. I was very sick last year and she was one of what I ended up calling my angels.
I have friends and relatives who are liberals and since I believe that people have a right to their opinion - GENERALLY (I am unyielding in my opposition to abortion for instance) then I figure we can get along if we just leave politics out of it.
The USA wasn’t always the way it is now...I blame the Clintons partly, Soros, and the Communists and their fairly successful agenda to destroy the USA by divide and conquer. If you go back and look at their stated agenda from 1963 you’ll be stunned at how much they’ve accomplished.
Still, she appears to be very easily moved to go someplace she shouldn't be/be with people whom she should NOT be with/ involved in something that WOULD do harm to YOU...and THAT is what I was driving at.
No, this nation absolutely was NOT always like this! You could disagree with someone else's politics ( unless they were avowed COMMIES ), until relatively recently. That's because there were once more or less SANE, America loving, patriots in both major political parties; hence those who voted for one or the other candidates, of them, were on the same page.
I remember a time, when EVERYONE ( well everyone my grandparents, parents, and then I, knew ) could have a discussion/debate and nobody was at the others' throats. That's because the differences weren't as wildly disparate.
Your timeline is a bit off. This all REALLY started around 1960. It was slow, at first, but like a snowball starting an avalanche,it picked up speed VERY rapidly after that. And by the time Mr. Nixon was president...well, it was in VERY high gear!
The "leaders" of the stupid hippies/SDS/Weathermen/etc., were ALL, save one, DAMNED RED DIAPER BABIES and it was they who began to get traction and tear this nation apart!
