“Red Guards”...how original. They are, however, eerily reminiscent of the Khmer Rouge...but that’s probably only the group in Chinatown. I wonder if the ones in Detroit call themselves Ton Ton Macoute?
They seem to have a lot of different makes and calibres of weapons, so if one should run out of ammo he/she/it can’t depend on any resupply from the rest of the group.
In Latin America I have seen and occasionally spoken to real revolutionaries, enough to know the whole idea isn’t fun, it isn’t clean or comfortable, it isn’t “bad-ass” romantic or cool. If these wimps had the slightest clue what a can of worms they are trying to open, they would go skittering back to mommy’s basement real fast!

I have a feeling that they won’t until it’s too late.

You are so right. This is true for the CW2 fans as well as the Glorious People’s Revolution types.
But I’m afraid that’s going to have to start for people to learn what it means to have to shoot your neighbor for his politics and what that means in real terms of food supply, etc.
