If she had been armed, who knows?
It will work out fine. Glad to see that they are getting involved with their own safety.

Been on the job for twenty years. A black woman will stab the bejeezus out of you for the slightest. (I was a cop for thirty minutes before I worked my first stabbing, GF stabbed baby daddy in the arse with a steak knife.)
Another stabbing I worked, this one a homicide, the G/F made the excited utterance, “What do you mean he’s dead, I stabbed him plenty of times, and he never died.” I swear upon my ancestors this is true.
Anyway, they have so little self control, encouraging guns is just asking for trouble.
