Law enforcement officers aren’t allowed to participate in any political activities while on duty. This has been my argument about the NFL protests. If they want to protest, do it on their own time, not while they’re on the clock. Protesting isn’t a part of their paycheck...playing ball is. If I’d decided to attend a protest in uniform while I was on duty, I’d have been brought up on departmental charges, and terminated.
Trump needs to double-down in this by really pushing the point that the NFL is disrespecting the police, military and hard working fans.
Those 2 morons do not realize even black cops are being murdered by the BLM rhetoric like the female police that was murdered in her car in New York.

My Dad grew up at 22nd and Pulaski; very near where his African-American caregiver grew up. Her parents still live there; they are frightened to death. They have installed motion detectors, lights, all manner of security devices. My Dad’s caregiver is actually scared to visit her parents; she goes and then gets the heck out of Dodge.
She was a wonderful young lady. Haven’t talked to her much since my father passed on. But she is a good person, and I imagine her parents are too.
It is reprehensible that some great cities are being destroyed by gang violence. Where’s Rudy Guiliani when you need him! LOL. ;)
