Law enforcement officers aren’t allowed to participate in any political activities while on duty. This has been my argument about the NFL protests. If they want to protest, do it on their own time, not while they’re on the clock. Protesting isn’t a part of their paycheck...playing ball is. If I’d decided to attend a protest in uniform while I was on duty, I’d have been brought up on departmental charges, and terminated.
Trump needs to double-down in this by really pushing the point that the NFL is disrespecting the police, military and hard working fans.
