Have you noticed how so many media outlets have gone soft on President Donald Trump? Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, The Daily Show, etc.. All are now treating Trump with kids gloves.
Yes, yes! Of course I'm just kidding. The fact is that the mainstream media in both its news and entertainment shows have presented an almost solid wall of total hostility towards Trump. So what happens when just one entertainment show treats Trump as a side character without weighing in on how evil he supposedly is?
Well, that happened on Wednesday when South Park had a President Donald Trump character (actually avatar) who played a relatively minor role with nothing to indicate total condemnation of him. The result was immediate hostility towards the South Park creators from Charles Bramesco in the Vulture section of New York magazine who whined that South Park Goes Soft on Donald Trump in Witch Hunt Episode:

Did they ever pick on Obunghole?
I reject the premise. The character known as gay Mr. Garrison is the “president” and he is portrayed as a crude and corrupt moron. And his sidekick in the show is Bruce Jenner in a dress.
If you’re talking soft, they never landed a glove on brack obamie.
Honestly they didn’t, nor or Bush. Clinton is a whole other story.
We already know they went full marshmallow on Islam.
Face it, leftists are only brave against those with integrity, knowing that they will not be victims of retribution.
Boohoo. Just go to your “safe place” and all will be good. Just remember to bring your crayons with you. Us real world grown-ups will protect your “feelings” with our blood and guts. What a bunch of metro-p*ssies. Pfft.
They’re just trying to stir the pot more... expected from them :p
Matt and Trey said they would do just that a few months ago.
Did those aholes miss all of last season? And a memo to those complaining, expect a not-so-friendly response from Trey and Matt. They hate lib babies.
1. Part of comedy is jokes. Jokes are often made of disguised “uncomfortable” truths, like the “mother-in-law” jokes.
3. A lot of Lefties were “uncomfortable” (to put it mildly) with President Trump. They made jokes about that.
4. President Trump has proven he’s no joke, he’s the real deal and is taking care of business.
6. Way past time to make jokes about irrational Lefties!
I don't know, but I swear I saw him on a box of Kellogg's Corn Pops as a janitor. But it couldn't be him, he was working cleaning up rather than making a mess.
Lol! :-D
I used to know Matt and Trey. Matt is left leaning. Trey is on the right and his family are very far right. Of course, things could have changed since I last saw them.
I thought the South Park this week with their version of Trump was hilarious. They did bust his chops on some things, but the part where he showed “Chip” was real power was, it was laugh out loud funny.
Good Lord. I like and hate South Park. I avoid watching anything sacrilegious or anything to do with poop/barf humor. But the rest is just golden. The day South Park tries to “even the field”, will be the day it is no longer funny or worth watching.
My God...what hard hitting journalism...I wonder where some of these people get their journalism degree...at a diploma mill?
Nope, they tried to do shows with Allah and things but the network told them they couldnt do those episodes. The closest they were allowed to get was suggesting that allah was inside a bear(?) costume. Not their fault.
Last season they made the Canadian PM look like Trump. Mr. Garrison went buck wild on him.
South Park has always been politically incorrect to some degree.
I love Matt and Trey. Kindred spirits.
But as part of the creative protected class, they Will have a very difficult time trying to understand why people who don’t make millions in the entertainment business are pissed off and voted for Trump.
