Former Trump campaign adviser: Papadopoulos was ‘coffee boy’
The Hill ^ | October 31, 2017 | BY MALLORY SHELBOURNE

A former adviser to President Trump’s campaign during an interview early Tuesday dismissed George Papadopoulos's role, saying he was “the coffee boy” and “had nothing to do with the campaign.”

“I mean, you might have called him a foreign policy analyst,” Michael Caputo told CNN’s “New Day.”

"But in fact, you know, if he was going to wear a wire, all we’d know now is whether he prefers a caramel macchiato over a regular American coffee in conversations with his barista."

“He had nothing to do with the campaign," Caputo added on CNN. "And all this contact with alleged Russians is something completely beyond the scope of his volunteer duties."

They should not do this...

He was convicted of “lying” to the FBI because he gave them the wrong date about a PERFECTLY LEGAL MEETING

Why would you lie about something legal?

He should have used the HilLIARy defense and said “he can’t recall” anything.

Or at minimal said “I THINK that the date was such-and-such but I would have to check.

Convicting him of “lying” is the same thing they did to Scooter Libby and Trump should pardon him.

Of course the press will use it against him, but what else is new...

He was a coffee boy, like Bill said Obama was.

Scooter Libby.

“What did you have for dinner on May 17th?”
“Jeeze. That was a long time ago. Ummmmmmmmmm. Spaghetti and meatballs. Oh, wait. I just remembered — we had meatloaf that night.”
“So, why did you lie about the spaghetti???????”

Former Trump campaign adviser: Papadopoulos was ‘coffee boy’

So essentially he was the Republican equivalent of Barack Inane O-hole, with all the requisite "skill and experience"...

Papadopoulos was ‘coffee boy’

Question is, was it Russian coffee? Meaning that, if so, he was in contact with some Russian along the way and conspired to forgo American coffee.

I read that George was a volunteer who inserted himself into the Trump campaign. He had no role excepting that which he himself produced. I’d call him a mole.

As denials go, this is overkill. Papadopoulos wasn’t the coffee boy. This kind of hyperbole is not helpful. But he was an inconsequential member of an advisory committee, a volunteer with no access to the candidate, who turned out to be a loose cannon and a troublemaker with a very inflated view of his role in the campaign.

You know, when I first heard this name on TV, right away I thought, George Stephanopoulos. But why would Robert Mueller be snatching HIM up? Were the Clintons finally being called into the investigation?

But no, sadly, George Papadapoulos turned out to be an altogether different person.

Hopes were up, for just a moment there.

“Papadopoulos was ‘coffee boy’”

His crime was lying to the FBI, saying he served Arabica while it was Arabica blended Robusta all along.
So Trump must be impeached.
No no, it’s not satire, it’s the dems reality.

And Georgie still lives with relatives in Illinois, at 31 years of age. He seems to be a perpetual volunteer. How does one be an unpaid intern or volunteer at his age with no visible means of support.

He was a volunteer for Ben Carson before he joined the Trump campaign - never brought Russia up once while with Carson's campaign.

He also appears to be a liar.

A Laughingstock': Professor Rejects Claims by Ex-Trump Aide Arrested in Mueller Probe

The Telegraph has identified the professor as Joseph Mifsud, honorary director of the London Academy of Diplomacy, an affiliate of University of Stirling in Scotland.

Mifsud characterized the claims against him as "incredible," and called it a "laughingstock" that he attempted to introduce Papadopolous to a female relative of Vladimir Putin.

It amazes me that Mueller thinks this lemon has anything worth squeezing. Anybody from the campaign who had been up to something illegal would have been a fool to talk to junior about it.

More likely a deep state plant rather than a true volunteer wishing to assist candidate Trump in winning the election.
