The Samir Al-Hajeed, a Muslimization of the name of Sam Hyde (a comedian) is an internet joke based on the fact that the media is always quick to name and identify a white male if he commits an act of terrorism, but takes days to announce the racial identity of a Muslim. It keeps getting into media reports via twitter or facebook. He’s usually identified as a “White Supremacist Trump supporter,” though lately they’ve been going with the white Muslim convert thing.
My next step was to go look for his manifesto which led to the fakery/hoaxery.
