BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Ever defiant, Republican Roy Moore's campaign lashed out at the women accusing him of sexual misconduct, declaring "let the battle begin." Women's advocates decried the talk as worn intimidation tactics in a desperate attempt to keep his imperiled Senate bid alive.
Moore ignored mounting calls from Washington Republicans concerned that he may not only lose a seat they were sure to win but also may do significant damage to the party's brand among women nationwide as they prepared for a difficult midterm election season.
Moore's team showed no such concerns Thursday. "You ask me if I believe the girls. No, I don't believe the girls. I believe Judge Moore," Moore strategist Dean Young said. "Let the battle begin. ... Get ready to fight Mitch McConnell. We're going to fight you to the death on this."

Good as far as it goes; but he also needs to keep the heat on Jones — otherwise he is still on the defensive. Mere fighting back all the time won’t win this.
The Left is relying on a stereotype of Alabama to press this absurd scandal: the idea of the inbred hick and his child bride. Hollywood has pushed it for decades. Unfortunately for them, there is another, lesser-known outside of the region Alabama stereotype that actually IS true. It is a very litigious state, perhaps unrivaled, and Roy Moore is right from the heart of it. This could all go on for a while.

Yeah this is the new fangled modus operandi. Don’t defend yourself from accusations. What a screwed up world this has become.
Swamp Republicans better back off their support for these women. They've established the precedent that all need be done to destroy a Republican candidate if for some woman to approach a microphone and denounce said candidate as a sexual predator. Period. No proof, no witnesses, no corroboration. Just her word!
That is correct. And especially conservative, Christian Republicans who revere the 2nd Amendment and the rest of the Constitution.
Something really BIG is going on here if the Uniparty is going all-in to this degree, trying to destroy Moore. I think something enormous is about to happen, and the Uniparty knows they are running out of time to secure their power. Perhaps a world war or economic collapse or something will limit the Uniparty's control, so they are desperate to firm up their control now before that happens. I don't know.

FYI: In the AL primary 480,000 Rs voted. 84,000 Ds.
Richard Baris at PPD says the AL split is something like 52-39 (R/D). You can do the math and see how bogus this poll is.

Yes, the quartet falsely accused by Tawana Brawley would probably be attacked by the mainstream media for adamantly defending themselves had the accusation occurred in 2017.
IIRC, they called the women trailer trash.
There are test balloons going up, saying that Moore will not be seated if elected.
And he may not be, but not because of the allegations.
Seeking the truth & confronting an accuser is now intimidation?
