When I’ve read comments on the issue at a popular UK site yes there are some jerks but it seems the majority commenting are pro-Trump and wish they could have a leader like him right now.
And we all know how accurate polls are. Perhaps they have already taken financial/tourist hit, hence the “positive” poll.

This is a man who has expressed firm support for Great Britain and the British-American Trans-Atlantic Alliance!
