There is nothing more German than a Christmas Market. They are delightful reminders of Christmas in the German tradition. Beautiful set up, beautiful decorations, wonderful food, wonderful drink, and crafts and entertainment Beyond imagining. I absolutely loved them!
They are quintessential German. And since Merkel is out to destroy all things German, German culture, and German beautiful, she continues to allow terrorists to subvert Germany. Perhaps Germany will wake up, but they have never been very good at that.
Having a degree in Germanic Languages, and having read a lot of German literature/screenplays from the 1950s-1980s, I can say that the Germans are really good at asking "How could we have let this happen?"
