This was predicted by most of us with the early Seattle lunatic judge verdict. The SCOTUS has a reputation to preserve. They leave the lunacy to the lower courts and then bring it back to reality when necessary.

Supreme Court is the final arbiter. Hawaii Judge can yap all he wants. No effect.
Let me guess. One has to be the "wise latina". I'm not even sure she is really American.
