Glenn Simpson and the intelligence firm he founded, Fusion GPS, have presented themselves as disinterested researchers when it comes to their role in the Trump dossier and the 2016 election. But Simpson’s recently released testimony shows that at the same time he was encouraging the FBI to investigate Trump, he was actively trying to steer the FBI away from further investigation of the Clintons.
In his August 2017 testimony before Congress, Glenn Simpson admits Christopher Steele reached out to the FBI following the reopening of the Hillary Clinton email investigation in October 2016. Steele and Simpson had previously contacted the FBI regarding material they had collected on the Trump campaign — a project with no other direct tie to the Clinton investigation. Simpson claims the reopening of the Clinton probe sparked concerns on his part that the FBI was “being manipulated for political ends” by pro-Trump entities (Simpson testimony, p 179).

Why do they need to kill it when the fix was in and everyone knew it would be a whitewash. The result — the Kabuki dance of pretending to investigate and issuing a “critical” report that didn’t find any crime — was better than killing the investigation.

He was being paid by Hillary, and there would be less money coming his way if she was interned to the hoosegow.
But this entire episode stinks.
In the near future, this grotesque accusation of treason will be vilified as one of the most unconstitutional conspiracies to remove a president from office. This abomination of a lie never should have seen the light of day, it was false from the beginning, and each moment the conspiracy, from the Obama Administration to the DOJ to the DNC, to the FBI is being revealed for the sinister plot that it was, coordinated at the highest levels. The fabricated dossier, created by the Russians, bought by Hillary and taken to the government by McCain will be seen as a shameful despicable act, especially for McCain, since it was a known lie that instigated a false and illegal law enforcement procedure against an innocent man, all for political purposes. This is a constitutional crisis, and people must go to jail.
It will be interesting how these conspirators will run from this when its toxicity becomes completely revealed. For over a year they accused President Trump without evidence of horrible crimes, that they themselves were more guilty of. They conspired with the Russians, not Trump, Hillary paid them through her proxy. That is the irony.
So there was obstruction of justice in the Russian collusion investigation - just not generated by Trump’s side

The article did not say Fusion GPS was the only corrupt entity dishonestly working to sabotage the Clinton investigation.
It said that Fusion GPS was involved and was helping.
Hillary murders were down that week.

The problem is that unless the so-called mainstream media begin to report honestly and continually about the conspiracy, nothing of substance will ever be done about it.
