all a sitting president has to say is “No.”

But, this president has a particular expertise
IF ONLY HE WILL USE IT

“Mueller, sir, you’re FIRED!”

end of problem.
(the commies will scream but they are always screaming, so what?)

Totally agree. Mueller will take every other idiot’s view of events and claim Trump must be lying.

A venomous snake does not, before it strikes, concern itself with the innocence of its prey. Mueller is a venomous snake, and if he had an honest bone in his body, he would have ended the investigation months ago. So Trump can not appear and expect an honest inquiry.

I have seen those lawyers on You Tube explain why you should NEVER talk to prosecutors in an interview. They can use your honest truth to convict you.

It’s a perjury trap. Look what he did to Papadopoulos and Flynn. Papadopolous plead guilty to lying about the date on which he talked to a British professor. Trumped up charges plain and simple.

There is absolutely no way such an interview, even if they just discussed the weather, would look other than awful.

As they would say in D.C., “the optics are terrible.”

And that is precisely why Mueller wants to do it. As things are going right now, his entire investigation is near collapse, and he and his team might be the subjects of the next special prosecutor. So he is desperate to come up with something, anything, to justify what he has been doing.

Don’t talk to Mueller, Mr. President. They’re acting like the Italian-Irish Mafia.

Anyone should have their Fifth Amendment rights respected, including President Trump. Choose only the most loyal lawyers, and tell them to talk to the lawyers.

Agree. Just recognizing this committee is giving power to a witch hunt, which is all it is. Staffing decisions are in the rights of the Executive. Enough said.

If the President can fire Mueller and Co., he should do it. Then have Congress round up the real crooks. Flush the agencies, and refill them with nothing but conservative, young graduates. Those bright, young minds will find their way soon enough.

We all believe Mueller has done much crime and corruption to get to where he is now; colluding with Strzok, covering up Uranium One, etc.

It would be fantastic if they had the evidence and arrest Mueller right when President Trump shows up. "Would you like to put the cuffs on him, Mr. President?"

Mueller's MO is "show me the man, and I will find you the crime."

Despite the FISA and FBI rumors of corruption acting as a counterbalance, our President is still in jeopardy. Hatred of him outweighs actual justice.

Will President Trump be questioned with his lawyers and supporters present like Hillary Clinton’s FBI interview? Will he be questioned without being under oath like Hillary Clinton’s FBI interview? Will there be no transcripts or video of the questioning like Hillary Clinton’s FBI interview?

Mueller's investigation is beyond tainted.

Just say NO.

Mueller's investigation has no expiration date.

Mueller and parts of the FBI are as corrupt as it gets, they’re actually guilt of treason. God only knows what meaningless minutia crap he’ll try to entrap Trump into.

The threat to Trump is two pronged. Potential impeachment from a process crime/obstruction or, more likely, being hounded out of office by the Dims and the media by 2020. Talking to Mueller risks the former, not talking risks the latter. I expect that Trump, being Trump, will talk to Mueller but hopefully under strictly pre-defined parameters.
