At last some common sense in the Oval Office. The peace negotiations are useless and foredoomed, of course, but the point here is that President Trump is holding the “Palestinians” accountable, as no President has ever done before.
“We give billions of dollars away every year to countries and in many cases those countries don’t even support us, they don’t support the United States,” Trump said. “Israel has always supported the United States, and so what I did with Jerusalem was my honor, and hopefully we can do something with peace.”
Showering money upon those who hate us has for decades been a staple recommendation of the foreign policy establishment. That establishment needs to be repudiated once and for all.
And the “Palestinians” need not worry: the Europeans will keep the jizya flowing.

President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday and commented on the possibility of pulling U.S. aid to the Palestinians if they do not sit down to negotiate peace with Israel….
Trump addressed the United Nations vote from December to condemn the planned embassy move in which only a handful of countries voted in favor of the U.S. decision. He noted that the United States was “out in the wilderness by ourselves.”
“We give billions of dollars away every year to countries and in many cases those countries don’t even support us, they don’t support the United States,” Trump said. “Israel has always supported the United States, and so what I did with Jerusalem was my honor, and hopefully we can do something with peace.”
Trump went on to say that the Palestinians, who received hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. aide and support, disrespected Vice President Mike Pence when their leaders said they would not meet with him during a recent visit to the Middle East.
“That money is on the table and that money is not going to them unless they sit down and negotiate peace,” Trump said beside Netanyahu. “Because I can tell you that Israel does want to make peace and they’re going to have to want to make peace, too, or we’re going to have nothing to do with it any longer.”
Prior to Trump’s remarks, Netanyahu also commented on the historic nature of the administration’s commitment to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem. Pence announced on Monday the move is planned for 2019….
They’ll just keep negotiating to get the money. Agree to nothing.

I had a contract with a company once that was paying me $115 an hour. They wanted to hire me on at $35 an hour, or terminate the contract. I “negotiated” with them for three months before I left for another contract. :)
The Palestinians have been doing that for decades. It’s a pretty sweet deal.

John F. Kerry told the “Palestinians” to oppose peace efforts, and that Trump “will be gone within a year.” Not only did he violate the Hatch Act, I believe his words and actions are treasonous.
Exactly. Why do we give money to countries who hate us regardless of the amount? This has to stop.
Why just Palestinians? Cut off ALL foreign aid to EVERYONE! Then restore it case-by-case only where a clear and present benefit to the United States can be demonstrated.

Yes, thank you. I don’t think anyone has ever been prosecuted under the Logan Act. But the again we have never had traitors be so brazen before.

My recollection is the aid began due to their "compliance" with steps under Oslo. The aid has always been bipartisan
