As long as the money flows, why would they negotiate peace? That lure makes peace unprofitable.
As with the drug wars, the nations profiting from the aid would never solve the
problem. The aid would stop.

All negotiations with the PA should’ve ended the moment Abbas refused to meet with Pence. Trump could’ve tweeted out that the PA had ended discussions. Zip lips and invest no more effort in the process. Then just sit back and wait.
