She doesn’t have a job. She provides value to people via the written and spoken word, and they pay her for it. Seems to work out pretty well for her.
My stepson started his own business a few years ago and is now doing quite well. It’s allowed him to meet a lot of other people doing quite well. Once he said to me, “I finally found out what all those people in those huge and fancy houses do for a living (he lives in the Chicago area). They own their own business.
A job is the path to financial mediocrity and stability, which is where most of us are. There are rare exceptions, but that is that way it works out.
