Maybe they should be arrested but Gohmert’s rantings are not going to accomplish anything. He sounds like a right wing doppelganger of Schiff.
Well he gets face time out of it, so there’s that.
Rep. Louie Gohmert, a state district judge for Texas, United States Army Judge Advocate, and a Chief Justice on Texas’s 12th Court of Appeals.
His quote:
“The judge should be livid in the fact that these guys didn’t go to jail for contempt. And there are a couple kinds of contempt. You can have a contempt where a judge has a hearing, sort out the facts, but if a fraud is presented to the court and the courts manipulate, you don’t have to have a hearing,” Mr. Gohmert, Texas Republican, said on Fox News.
“And these people should be in jail for what they did,” he added.
This guy is no Schiff.
Gohmert was a Texas Supreme Court Justice before becoming a US Rep. He understands the laws. Nothing like Schiff!
