If we get a wall and a path to citizenship with no diversity lottery or chain migration, that is a half of a loaf.
I would take that deal as long as the wall is fully funded and construction starts before this goes into effect.
POTUS getting $20 billion for The Wall would devastate the morale of the Democrat base. They would stay home in droves in the mid terms. Hard to see the Dems agreeing to that.
That isn’t close to half a loaf. It’s not even a half a slice of bread from the end of the loaf. The wall is just theatrics compared to eliminating the diversity lottery and chain migration.

The wall needs to be FINISHED, ribbons cut and done, before anything else happens. Anything else and we know what will happen - they will get their amnesties and all of a sudden, the EPA or some other agency will find some reason to stop construction.
