Traditionally, the US hasn’t been a powerhouse in the Winter Olympics.
Our athletes look flat.
It got to political, and now the winter Olympics are to white so they must fail .
Figure skating’s popularity is at an all-time low in the US. It used to boost the ratings a lot.
But winning isn’t important, it’s the diversity that counts. Or so the media tells us.
Since the advent of the Jet Airliners -Olympics both winter and summer are noting but over hyped TV events
These athletes compete against each other every year and sometimes weeks before and after the games
Just get more democrats on the squad.

If they were to just make a list of events and announce that all 7 billion people on the planet all get participation cyber trophies then we can be done with the Olympics and put that flame out as the new Dark Ages comes upon us as the end of the second era of Olympics comes to an end.
My point is that political correctness is bad for the Olympics and everything.

The only bit of the Winter Olympics that remotely interests me is Ski Jumping and only for the fact that those guys jump off a ramp and glide through the air for a distance longer than a football field. That is impressive. and fun to watch. The rest I have no interest in.
The US has never been very good at winter sports. Figure skaters and an occasional skier or speed skater, but our best athletes don’t specialize in winter sports.
If you lived in Finland or Norway or the Alps, I expect you might specialize in winter sports. It’s not a big deal.
The USOC misses George Steinbrenner.
He was a huge,patriotic supporter and gave a LOT of money to make the American team great.
Winter Olympics aren’t generally popular sports in America, which means they don’t get our best athletes, which means we don’t win international competitions. Which then makes Americans not get into those sports. Lather, rinse, repeat.
1. We denied being the flag bearer to a Black person who felt entitled to.
2. We just didn't embrace and celebrate our queerthletes enough.
3. And the actual number one reason according to the left is................TRUMP!
The Olympics used to really be something. Today we see some spectacular athletes whose performance is marred by whiny liberal snowflakes who need to go for their one second of fame spouting off rather than showing us their athletic talent.
Too bad stupid political opinions isn’t an event.
