One longtime Texas legislator fell and another survived to win Republican Party nominations Tuesday. Collin County businessman Pat Fallon unseated longtime Wichita Falls state Sen. Thank you for that info. It is hard for outsiders to divine what has happened in primaries, much less the big picture for the state.

Has this election brought any discernible political shift yet? I know a bunch of radical leftists were trying to drive the Democrats hard left, but no idea if Texas has any commie seat pickups.

Just the primary. No changes until Nov election. Estes got a lot of pushback, negatives this time around.

Democrats don’t have the numbers.

TX is the mirror image of CA: the GOP holds all statewide offices and has a majority in the congressional delegation and both Senate seats are R.

I did notice that there are an abnormal number of uncontested seats for both parties. And there are definitely leftist only seats.
