There is no nullification. There is no secession.... His statement is all well and good, but did he have to travel out of the country to make it?

Gettysburg? Democrats could care less about Gettysburg!! They have a monument for John Wilkes Booth's manifesto... The GOP needs to stop attacking Nations and States and face off the terrorists, ie the DEMOCRAT PARTY and Communists... or more names of theirs will be written on Lincoln׳s bullet Why do you all think that attack on Congressmen went under the radar? The GOP are coward demagogues

So in response, Sessions announces a lawsuit which will take years to work it’s way through the courts. How about some high profile arrests for obstruction and public endangerment?

Federal law is the supreme law of the land.AS LONG AS that federal law is PURSUANT to the U.S. Constitution, which is the Supreme Law of the Land (Art VI, Cl.2).
The Constitution trumps federal law. The Constitution is the ONLY SOURCE of authority for valid federal laws and acts. It the federal law or act is not constitutional, it is not valid, and should be rejected, resisted, and nullified by the states.
Here, the issue is federal immigration law, which authority the Constitution has delegated to the feds, so the feds are in the right and California is in the wrong.

Actually, the nullification crisis was over powers actually delegated to the federal. As in the case here.
There hasn’t been a nullification crisis over powers not delegated to the federal but reserved to the States or the people. Things like regulation of commerce within States or saying things that affect interstate commerce but which are not actually interstate commerce may be regulated. There really needs to be a LOT of that sort of nullification!

Watching for actions, not words.
Sessions does not impress.
Arrest that mayor and anyone who operates sanctuary's then, maybe I would be impressed.
I think Sessions is nothing more than a posturing self aggrandizing political whore.
He was a Senator after all.
