The survey found that Tester would score 42 percent of his state's votes, with 55 percent saying they would vote Republican. Manchin is at 43 percent, with 52 percent voting Republican. Donnelly has 45 percent of votes, with 51 percent voting Republican.

McCaskill is down 44 percent to Hawley's 52 percent. The polling was closer for Heitkamp. The survey said she would garner 47 percent, versus 49 percent for a generic Republican challenger.

Which is why Rick Scott has to start grabbing guns ASAP to ensure that Bill Nelson stays in his seat. /sarc

This is why PRESIDENT Trump needs to let the DemoNazi gun grab attempt to continue into the fall as he is the DACA fiasco. Although the ‘RAT bobbleheads are on the idiot cable news shows proclaiming 90 PERCENT (!) of “americans” want guns banned, I think we should make them prove it at the polls in November.

Trump won Florida by about 1.2%. Do you really think that Scott could do nothing and still win? Whether we like it or not, the vast majority of voters favor some restrictions on guns. Especially, after a school massacre in the state.

Realistically, he gains more votes than he loses by signing the recently past bill. If you want to question his ethics or constitutionality of the decision, that is fine, but not the vote results.

For starters he could find the balls to defend his oath and not infringe on the rights of Floridians.

Lots of articles indicating a major loss for the Democrats this upcoming election cycle, but we must never buy into such as often it’s just propaganda for the purpose of creating over confidence to cause Republicans to think it’s OK to not vote, to stay home, because we are allegedly going to win anyway.

We mustn’t become apathetic. Support your local Republican whether you like him/her, or not.

Enough to get us to 60 would be nice. Anything less, and McConnell would have to grow a spine and change the stupid, archaic Senate rules -- which I know is only slightly less likely than Pelosi saying, "Ya know, those Republican tax cuts really are doing some good after all."

But, but, the “great blue wave that is coming”.... The New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, WaPo all say so, so it must be so. After all, we just saw a great example if this “Blue wave” in Texas. The blue wave was so strong that Ted Cruz manger to get over TWICE as many votes as the Democrat creature in the primaries.
Chortle!

" A good chance to pick up seats in the Senate. "

An even better chance to try to appease leftists by passing any kind of gun control measure and actually lose seats and give up control of the house.

Lamar Alexander just said on FOX they could add the extensive background check bill proposed by Dems and get that passed next month.

Someone needs to take the lead with republicans behind the scenes and tell these jackasses to shut their mouths. NO GUN CONTROL.

Passing gun control is a sure fire way to trigger a scorched earth backlash against ALL republicans. They had better pull their heads out of their butts and quick.

If all the NRA members sit home Scott ain’t winning a Senate seat.

And I fully expect that they will. The NRA derives its power and influence by ending political careers.

Most of them are against a generic Republican candidate, like generic Democrats poll well against generic Republicans on who people want to control Congress. Put faces to the party label and that may change. It’s way too early for high fives and counting Senate gains.

" Whether we like it or not, the vast majority of voters favor some restrictions on guns."

Put down the KoolAid! It's laced don't you know? It's exactly the opposite and always has been.

We could propose a Constitutional amendment that would eliminate all gun laws forever and it would pass quite easily. In fact we already did just that when the 2nd amendment was added to the bill of rights.
