President Trump’s job approval rating is at 42 percent according to a new Marist poll, the highest it’s been in the poll since he took office more than a year ago.
Trump's approval rating rose from the 38 percent he received in the poll last month. And the percentage of Americans who strongly approve of Trump held at 24 percent from last month’s survey, an all-time high for the president.

To whom does Marist poll? They say 42% approval but another Marist poll had 45% approval. Rasmussen puts his job approval at 45-48%.
Maybe not. It could be his numbers are dragged down by overwhelming (and electorally redundant) hatred in deep red states, while in purple states he is up just enough to win in 2020.
Sometimes the GOP is just running a bad candidate.
I don’t believe for a minute it is or was that low.
Can you imagine what he’d be polling if the Mockingbird Media covered him with the same love and adoration they poured on Obama? Or even if they just reported honestly about what he’s promised and what he’s done, starting with miraculously turning the economy around in 8 months.
If Marist says its at 42%, take it to the bank that it’s over 50%.
They just won’t let poll numbers go above 50%, will they? It was 48, then 49....you blink....and it’s back to low 40’s again. Knowing how Dem polls are, just add 10 or 20 points to the stated figures and it would be more to the truth.
