House Allows H-2B [Low Skill Work Visa] Increase in Omnibus Spending Bill
Center For Immigration Studies ^ | 22 March 2018 | Preston Huennekens

The new spending bill covering the remainder of the fiscal year includes a provision to again allow the Department of Homeland Security to exceed the annual cap on admissions of unskilled non-agricultural workers. This step, if fully implemented by USCIS, potentially would add as many as 63,000 additional H-2B guest workers next year, nearly doubling the size of this program.

U.S. Senator Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) was instrumental in getting the language authorizing an increase in workers in the 2018 Omnibus package.

There you go. A giveaway to the Chamber of Commerce and K Street.
Paul and Mitch and the Left.

Trump, I believe, considered *high skilled* foreign workers, but definitely fewer numbers, and there was a respectable caveat he also considered, but I can not recall details. I do recall it beat the heck out of Ted Cruz, who used the numbers of the Gang of Eight led by Rubio. Cruz proposed their numbers be QUINTUPLED!

This is an OmniBust by UniParty! Should be DOA!

( However, how else can Trump get to 60 votes. He needs 9 Democrats after all to even get any budget .)

LOSING more by the day. I see a trend. It is not necessarily all POTUS. Without the MAJORITY party upholding the President’s mandate and policies, the President is on an island in the swamp. Washington DC is that cesspool swamp. This country is being run into the ground.I would not think “one and done”/losing majority would be even odds but that is where it stands now IMHO.

The cheap labor express pays big bucks for the Fake Conservatives in every election cycle. Do not vote for any senator or representative that voted for this Democrat/RINO bill.

Why the hell did POTUS agree to sign this stinking pile of $hit? And how the hell did every leftist wet dream make it into this bill, but the wall isn’t funded at all (that $600M for various and sundry repairs and “technology” is a farce)? What the #^@! is going on in the House? The only hope is that the Senate will kill this pig, but with all of the dems voting for it, I doubt it’ll happen.

The corrupt people running our country do not depend on transparency or votes from citizens.

Use those H2-Bs to rescue the South African farmers. One is murdered every 4 days on average, and the government there is going to expropriate (without compensation) their land.

Win-win: America gets immigrants with a strong work ethic, and the South African gov’t gets rid of the farmers.

Then again, they could ease this problem by getting rid of the two-track rule for filibusters.

Yes, they happily come to work as maids and waiters in summer resort towns. Taking jobs we do not want to do. They then happily go back to their sunny paradise with a years worth wages made in six months.

Learn what you are dissing before doing so.
