Special counsel Robert Mueller has asked questions about the work of a private consulting firm that has undertaken projects for the United Arab Emirates, according to people familiar with the investigation, suggesting his probe is looking more deeply at foreign influence in Washington.
The questions by Mr. Mueller’s team concern a private consulting firm, Wikistrat, as well as two of its co-founders, Joel Zamel and Daniel Green.
Wikistrat—which was founded in Israel in 2010 and today is based in Washington, D. C.—bills itself as a crowdsourced consulting firm that draws on a large network of experts to help analyze geopolitical problems on behalf of corporate clients and governments.
Marc Mukasey, a lawyer for Messrs. Zamel and Green and Wikistrat, said that his clients aren’t a focus of the probe.

You have to wonder at the stupidity of everyone in DC. Who didn’t see this coming? All independent councils should be given a sunset date, i.e., you have six months to investigate. Period.

Mueller is doing this, because I believe his own well being depends on him finding something to deflect.
He is extremely conflicted by what is going on, his top aides are involved (Carlin) and I think he was chosen specifically for his knowledge and familiarity of the processes by which data was vetted for submission to the FISA court, because...HE WAS THE ONE WHO WROTE THE PROTOCOL.
He KNOWS what rules were broken, and I think is trying to do all he can to divert attention away.
Trump should demand he step down for conflict of interest issues.
I do not understand the media’s obsession with Russia ‘trying to influence’ our election.
Every country on the planet tries to influence the elections in all other countries in the world!

Any country where the Clinton Foundation took money from is being visited. Mueller is asking the leaders to scrub their donations to Clinton. And back home, the Clinton donors are scrubbing US information.
Thank you Jeff Sessions for holding yourself to a higher standard than the people who work for you.
AG Sessions, you allowed a conflicted person to appoint an even more conflicted person to investigate a “crime” where no crime had been committed. But AG Sessions, thank goodness your hands are clean.
