I was away from the radio for a while.
Rush was sorta wrong about that song he now plays in bumper rotation. It’s called “Alrighty” by Los Massieras. The title Rush gave was actually the first line of the lyrics (Freezing cold...).
The 2010 version of the song was played last year in Season 3, Episode 1 of the FX TV series “Fargo”, entitled The Law of Vacant Places, when Ray Stussy and Nikki Swango were entering the bridge tournament.
It wasn’t on iTunes at the time, but I downloaded it from SoundCloud.
Rush’s taste in music sucks.
It is only eclipsed by Long Island born-and-bred, wannabe redneck Sean Hannity’s love of crap “country” music like Florida-Georgia Line.
I think Rush is missing the big issue with Hillary. Her problem is generational as much as anything else. Hillary grew up under the shadow of Elenor Roosevelt. Women were taught at that time to do whatever their husbands thought best.Ive seen women of that era telling their daughters to ignore their husbands affairs. If the women is between 70-85 they think they are so BRIGHT . but the truth is they probably defer to their husband moreoften then not.
I just downloaded it. It’s a weirdly cool song!
The first line lyric is actually “Prisencolinensinainciusol...” from the group’s Facebook page. Not “Freezing cold and...”.
The language seems to be a fusion of Italian and Dominican with a little French thrown in. In other words, unintelligible to us normal folks.
I found that out when I searched for it. :) It has kind of a catchy funky tune. I liked it. But then I like a lot of different music.
