How Washington is trying to rush Trump into war
The Week ^ | April 11 2018 | W. James Antle III

Posted on 04/13/2018 1:59:20 PM PDT by WilliamIII

Life comes at you fast in the Trump administration. A day after warning Syria, Russia, and the world that missiles "will be coming," President Trump clarified Thursday that he didn't say when. "Could be very soon or not so soon at all!" And this was only a week after the president said he wanted to pull U.S. troops out of Syria completely.

Amidst all this chaos, however, one thing remains a constant: Despite electing an "America First" president who has at least episodically expressed skepticism of foreign interventionism, it is awfully hard to press antiwar arguments in the Donald's Washington.

Media just wants Trump to go to Syria so that this november when syria is even more Fubar than it is now, they can crow that Trump lied us into a war. Besides the media is aching to fire those body counters back up

The Media wants to see body bags and caskets. And then they will blame Trump for the Syrian War that Obama screwed all up. Now it appears the UK and France were part of the nerve gas attack. They launched it when Trump said he wanted to leave. Europe wants the US involved in this war, for oil and arms profits.

President Trump can shoot missiles at Syria and pull out.

Next hysterics.

Right, it would be a “cakewalk,” just like the Iraq war was promised to be

Japan intended to drop some bombs at Pearl and pull out. Sometimes starting wars doesn’t go as planned

Sometimes.

Very unlikely this time considering Trump already attacked Syria in the past and there was no war. Unlike the invasion of Iraq, Pearl Harbor and whatever else you can be crapping yourself over.

Rushing into war won’t bring those who are dead back. At least Bush went to the UN with the supposed evidence.

They don’t even know who actually dropped the gas bomb.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the US Deep State is behind it.

This wouldn’t be the first False Flag operation by a CIA financed militia.

Anything to discredit president Trump.

If you truly support President Trump, you won’t want him to be “suckered” by the Swamp dwelling globalists.

If Trump goes to war with no proof, no friends, no way to win, then he looks just like Bush.

The Fake News Media wants to use an ugly war as a stake with which to skewer President Trump.

Conservatives should acknowledge that the Bushes weren’t the brightest bulbs on the block.
