I wish more people in America were knowledgeable about what went on in the Chinese Communist Revolution under Mao. It looked a lot like what is happening here in this story and elsewhere in the US. For example, “progressive” government elites used the useful idiots on the left(mostly younger people) to rob, torture, imprison, and kill the opposition, whom they called “counter-revolutionaries.” All the while using government corruption as their excuse to transfer power to a bigger and more corrupt government system. Just like here, the inmates are running the asylum. Final total, roughly 60 million dead.
